Visas

I. General requirements:
Entry visa to Vietnam can be applied at the Embassy. Applicant must submit the following documents:

1/ Original and valid PASSPORT;

2/ One completed APPLICATION FORM  with a photo attached;

3/ VISA FEE must be paid in cash. All payments are non-refundable. Cheque and other types of payments are not accepted.

For further querry, please have your question(s) ready, brief and focus before contacting the Embassy. The Visa Section telephone line is open from 09 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Friday except Vietnamese and Nigerian holidays.

II. Diplomatic and Official Visas:

- Diplomatic and official visas will be granted Gratis unless otherwise agreed upon between Vietnam and the applicant’s country.

- In addition to the documents specified above, applicant must submit a Note verbal or an official letter from the concerned agencies of the Nigerian government, foreign embassies or consulates accredited to Nigeria, international organisations.

- Diplomats to be posted in Vietnam are requested to inform the Embassy of his/her position, title at the mission in Vietnam, and the name of the person that he/she is to replace.

III. Business Visas:

In addition to the documents specified above, applicant must obtain approval through sponsor in Vietnam. The Embassy will issue visas upon approval by competent Authorities in Vietnam. If you don’t have a sponsor in Vietnam, please contact the Embassy for further information.
